Introduction
All public schools in Baltimore County, Maryland are under the control of the school district known as Baltimore County Public Schools. The school system was the 25th largest in the country as of 2013.
Overseeing the educational system is the Board of Education, which has its headquarters in Towson. On June 11, 2019, the School Board chose Darryl L. Williams to serve as its leader. 30 middle schools, 25 high schools, and 106 primary schools are now under its jurisdiction.
BCPS Schoology for Parents
BCPS Schoology online parent portal is called BCPS One.Signing up for a BCPS One account will allow parents/guardians* to access student grades, assignments, attendance data, report cards, and instructional materials.
Schoology BCPS Child Login
It is divided into two sections. The first step is to create an account, and the second is to add students. The steps to creating a BCPS One Account are listed below.
- Go to the bcps one page and register there.
- Complete the form completely and click the button to register.
- To the provided email address will be sent an email with the activation code.
- On the account activation screen, the user must enter their email address and activation code.
- The “Activate Account” button must be clicked.
- Log in to the One Account that has been activated to move on to the next step. The second section is now available.
- Log in to your account, then select the My Profile menu.
- You may see “Add a Student” here, where you can enter the student’s birthdate and choose the student’s school from a drop-down menu.
- To complete the procedure, click submit.
Users will only be able to access their student’s information in BCPS One if they have contacts who have been authorized as authorized to make educational decisions orif the BCPS One Student Information System (SIS) gives them view-only access to their students’ data. For the purpose of reviewing student data or making educational decisions, the school has to have each student’s email address, first and last name on file.
Grades on BCPS Schoology:
The procedures below will allow you to get the Schoology grade report for your students.
- Access your BCPS One account.
- Select BCPS Schoology from the tabs.
- Select the Grade Report option from the drop-down menu.
- You must select Download Student Report here.
- The window that displays will have a box next to “MP 1 2020-2021” that you can select.
- You can choose the courses in the next window by clicking the next button.
- Finally, click “Submit.”
